The webinar featured the following speakers and topics: David Tobias of the U.S. EPA, who spoke on the status of the risk analysis for PFOA, PFAS, and other emerging contaminants; Dr. Rob Hale (VIMS), who has received EPA funding for research on emerging contaminants in biosolids, spoke on his ongoing research of known and emerging chemical contaminants; Dr. Mike Badzmierowski (Oregon Department of Agriculture), who spoke on recently completed research on carbon sequestration for land applied biosolids; and, Dr. Raul Gonzalez of Hampton Roads Sanitation District, who spoke on his recently completed research on bioaerosols from land application of Class B biosolids.
